Structural steel installation for the Crown Princess Mary’s Bridge was executed using a custom-engineered launching gantry crane system, enabling safe and precise placement of large steel-concrete deck segments over the fjord.

The bridge features a 1.4 km long steel and concrete composite structure, supported by elegant V-shaped steel pylons and reinforced piers engineered for durability in marine conditions.

The gantry allowed progressive span-by-span assembly without the need for marine scaffolding, reducing environmental impact and ensuring continuous operation under challenging coastal and wind conditions.
